This three-part vertical block with 18th century English ornamentation was designed by Lewis P. Hobart for the Y.W.C.A. The steel frame is clad in terra cotta at the base with brick and terra cotta trim above.

When we photographed the building in 2019, it was one of many historic San Francisco buildings owned or leased by the Academy of Art University.
