Brewster-Dutra House
1803 Vine Street
Paso Robles
Built c1890

The Brewster-Dutra House is one of the oldest and finest houses in the city of Paso Robles. It is an outstanding local example of late 19th century Queen Anne architecture.

The house was built for G. W. Brewster from Madison, Kentucky, and his wife Mary Moody from Marysville, California. Brewster spent much of his time living at the Hillman Ranch located east of Paso Robles, while his wife and children occupied the house in town.

Mrs. Brewster continued to live in the house until her death in 1931. Mr. Brewster lived at the ranch until his death in 1938.
