The Old Santa Rosa Catholic Church and cemetery occupy a prominent hilltop location overlooking the old village of Cambria. A narrow road leads from Main Street directly up the steep slope to the old church. The small, wooden frame building is positioned so the main entrance looks out over the townsite. The old cemetery is located behind the church. The hillcrest is covered with native grasses and mature pines.
