National Register of Historic Places in San Joaquin County
Constructed for wealthy farmer, John Tretheway, the Tretheway Block originally housed offices and lodging rooms on the upper floors and a hardware store on the ground floor.
The eclectic structure is an unusual interpretation of the Queen Anne style with some Romanesque and Moorish influences. The architect and builder are not known.
