National Register of Historic Places in Jackson County
Gold Hill School is one of the best examples of simplified Beaux Arts architecture in the Rogue River Valley. It is the only example Chicago Style architecture in Gold Hill.
Henry T. Wentworth was the contractor. He used brick that was manufactured at a brickyard near Gold Hill.
The school has served the educational needs of the community continuously since it was built.
