National Register of Historic Places in San Mateo County
The Woodside Store is one of the earliest tangible remains of American settlement on the San Francisco Peninsula. The redwood board and batten structure is a notable example of its type and period and is one of the oldest such buildings in the state. It has a direct association with one of the area's important pioneers, Dr. Robert 0. Tripp, and served as a store, post office and center of local social and economic activity throughout much of its history.
The Woodside Store is also California Landmark 93.
