Constructed c1910 in the Colonial Revival architectural style, the Arendt Jensen House is unique in Gardnerville in its scale and architectural sophistication.

Jensen was a prominent Carson Valley merchant who operated a General Store and founded the Douglas County Farmers Bank in 1902.
