National Register of Historic Places in Napa County
Greystone Cellars was designed by the San Francisco firm Percy & Hamilton in the Richardson Romanesque style.
The building originally housed the co-operative Greystone Winery. From 1950 to 1989, it was owned by the Christian Brothers for the production of wine and brandy.
When we photographed the building in 2004, it was occupied by a branch of the Culinary Institute of America with restaurants, shops, and classes open to the public.
