980 Bush Street on Lower Nob Hill, designed by Frederick Herman Meyer, built 1910 Jones Street facade. The red building downhill to the right is the Chismore Apartments building, also designed by Meyer.

The St. Dominic contributes to the Lower Nob Hill Apartment Hotel District which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

The National Register describes the building as: "5 stories and basement, pressed brick and finely detailed terra cotta cladding, Renaissance ornament, ground floor residential. Facade intact."
