The California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park is the building at the bottom of the photograph. A tiny bit of Steinhart Aquarium, also designed by Hobart, is visible to the left of the building. Both buildings were demolished in 2005 and replaced by a new building designed by Renzo Piano.

The buildings shown in top half of the photograph belong to UCSF Medical Center in Parnassus Heights. One of these medical buildings was deigned by Hobart.
