San Francisco Points of Interest
This Spanish Colonial Revival building is attributed to Willis Polk even though it was built eight years after his death.
Like many traditional Spanish buildings in both the Old World and the New World, 50 Fell Street disdains the thoroughfare with a defensive, prison like façade. Its true and gracious façade is in a private courtyard for the enjoyment of the owners and their guests.
When we photographed the building in 2014, it was vacant.
