To visit this marker, park in a small lot on the northwestern side of US 97 opposite the intersection of US 97 and Military Pass Road.
At the far end of the parking lot is a green gate which marks the beginning of a trail. Follow the trail about three hundred yards to the marker.
Because part of the trail has deep, soft sand, walking is advised.
