This Mediterranean Revival building was Redding's third public grammar school. Now, in 2011, it houses Shasta Children & Families First Commission and several restaurants.

The building is difficult to comprehend in its entirety because of its size and the clutter surrounding it, but its parts are quite fine, in particular, an unusual below-grade plaza.
