National Register #81000486
Boslough-Claycomb House
1 Hillcrest Street
Ashland
Built 1913

The Bungalow Style house built for prominent local physician Arthur W. Boslough in 1913 is among the several outstanding bungalows in Ashland which show some influence of the lavish California residential work in the style by Charles and Henry Greene.

The builder, F. E. Conway, specialized in bungalow construction when bungalow architecture was the height of fashion. His advertisements read: "Bungalows Built Anywhere. $300 Down, $20 Per Month!"

Adapted from the NRHP nomination submitted in 1981.
