National Register #86002254
Washoe County Courthouse
117 South Virginia Street
Reno
Built 1909-1910

This Classical Revival building was the first solo commission of the prolific Nevada architect, Frederic J. DeLongchamps, who practiced from 1907 to 1965.

In adition to its architectural significance, the Washoe County Courthouse is significant for its associations with the political development of Washoe County and the development of the early 20th century divorce industry in Reno.
