National Register of Historic Places in Douglas County
The Minden Inn is a Neo-Classical building designed by Frederick J. DeLongchamps. It is one of four major buildings commissioned by the Dangberg family in Minden.
The Minden Inn was the center of social activity in the Carson Valley for the first decades of the 20th century and earned a reputation as one of the best hotels between Reno and San Francisco.

When we photographed the building in March of 2016, it housed Douglas County government offices.
