Bliss & Faville designed this building for the Women's Club of California. The steel frame, three-part vertical block is adorned with Renaissance/Baroque ornamentation. The top story is a later addition, added back in the day when an addition blended with the existing style rather than calling attention to itself.

The Marines' Memorial Club purchased the building in 1946 and has occupied it since then.
