National Register of Historic Places in Sonoma County
This simple, false-front building built in 1875 as a post office and express office, is the second oldest commercial building in Cloverdale and one of only four surviving Cloverdale commercial buildings considered historic.
Isaac Shaw, the first owner of the building, was a major figure in the early development of Cloverdale. Shaw's home, which is next door at 215 North Cloverdale Boulevard, is also listed on the national Register of Historic Places.
