Sonoma County Landmarks
The Gaige House was built by Albert Ebenezer Gaige who owned butcher shops in San Francisco and Kenwood. The building had living quarters upstairs and a butcher shop below. Albert's son, Howard, joined him in the family business.
The building has been operated as an inn for many years. In 2006, the owners restored the main house and constructed separate zen suites throughout the grounds.
