Napoleon LeBrun and Sons designed this neoclassical building faced in white terra cotta. It was built in five stages over a period of forty-four years for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. The original wing faces Stockton Street and is now the main entrance to a Ritz Carlton Hotel which occupies the entire structure.
