National Register of Historic Places in Santa Cruz County
The Redman House was designed by William H. Weeks in the Queen Anne style. It is the only surviving rural farmhouse in Santa Cruz County designed Weeks.
Fumio Hirahara bought the property in 1940 for ten dollars. The Hirahara family lived in the house until the 1980s even though the family was held in internment camps for Japanese-Americans during World War II.
