National Register of Historic Places in San Francisco
The Daniel Gibb & Co. Warehouse and its twin across Vallejo Street, Pelican Paper Company, appear to be the oldest surviving warehouses in San Francisco, the only ones dating back to the gold rush era. They are among the few Gold Rush buildings to survive the 1906 Earthquake and Fire.
The Daniel Gibb & Co. Warehouse is listed as San Francisco Landmark 91 under the name Trinidad Bean and Elevator Company which was in business here from about 1940 to 1972.
