St. James Episcopal Church
210 East Third Street
Coquille
Built 1897

St. James Episcopal Church is a rare example of Gothic Revival architecture on the southern Oregon coast showing the influence of the English ecclesiastical movement.

It is one of the oldest intact structures in Coquille and marks the transition of a rough and tumble frontier town to a more settled community.

Adapted from the NRHP nomination submitted in August 1992.
