This Classical Revival building, located in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, is the third Cliff House.
The first Cliff House was built in 1863 and was destroyed by fire on Christmas day in 1894.
The second, and most fabulous Cliff House, was built in 1896. It survived the 1906 Earthquake but was destroyed by fire on September 7, 1907
