National Register of Historic Places in Coos County
Coquille City Hall, in the American Renaissance style, is linearly arranged and constructed of pressed brick in a running bond pattern. City historians attribute the brick to the local Arago brick yard. It was built in 1912 by Longston and Bayliss General Contractors. The architect is unknown.
Located in the central business district, City Hall replaced a woodframe waterfront building used mainly for the protection of fire equipment. The new building accommodated all city functions under one roof.
