The Luella Rhodes Garvey House is the earliest Reno commission of architect Paul Revere Williams who designed more than fifteen properties in Nevada.

This might not be the gawkiest house on the National Register of Historic Places, but it comes close. Buildings can be listed for reasons other than architectural merit.
