Ford House
735 Main Street
Mendocino
Built 1854

Jerome B. Ford had this house built for his bride, Martha. Ford was the superintendent of the first sawmill in Mendocino and is credited by many as being the founder of Mendocino.

When we photographed the Ford House, it was a museum and a visitors center for the Mendocino Headlands State Park.
