South Berkeley Community Church, originally named Park Congregational Church, is historically significant for its role in the racial integration of Berkeley during the World War II period, 1941-1943.

Designed by the innovative architect Hugo W. Storch, it is architecturally significant as a good example of the Mission Revival style.
