This Greek Revival house in the Alkali Flat neighborhood is the only surviving residential example of this popular 19th century architectural style in Sacramento.

California Supreme Court Judge David S. Terry lived here as did the first and fourth governors of California, Peter Burnett and J. Neeley Johnson.
