SS Red Oak Victory Ship
1337 Canal Boulevard
Richmond

The SS Red Oak Victory, which was launched November 9, 1944, is the only remaining Victory ship built in Richmond's Kaiser Shipyard. Although the vessel is not seaworthy today, restoration is in progress with anticipation that someday she can join the SS Jeremiah O'Brien Liberty Ship cruising the San Francisco Bay.

High resolution photograph of the SS Red Oak Victory.

Visit the excellent Red Oak Victory web site to learn about the history of the ship, the plans for its future, and how to visit it today.
