When we stop near a house on a country road, we are greeted by one or more dogs, barking and running frantically. Usually, but not always, a fence stands between us and the dogs. Always, the property displays at least one American flag. Sometimes dozens. If a Presidential election is less than a year in the future, the property displays a Ron Paul campaign poster.
